How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maghaberry
    Rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6 am to 2pm, then Monday to Friday 1 pm to 9 pm.

    All About the Role
    Based at our Maghaberry site, we have a role available for a General Operative.  The purpose of these roles is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide excellent customer service whilst operating within a safe working environment and ensuring legal compliance to all Health & Safety standards. The hours of work are rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6 am to 2pm, then Monday to Friday 1 pm to 9 pm.

     Specific tasks could include:

    Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
    Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
    Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
    Handle steel
    Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and cranes.
    Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
    Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
    Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

    Essential Skills for the role: 
    •    The successful candidate will have experience as a warehouse/yard operative.
    •    Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
    •    Fork-Lift and Side-loader is desirable but not essential.
    •    Health & Safety awareness.
    •    Driving Licence preferred
