How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Opportunity to work on next-generation AI and robotics platforms in a high-growth environment

As a QA Test Engineer, you will play a key role in verifying and validating embedded software within a runtime assurance platform. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you’ll design and execute robust testing strategies, drive quality improvements, and support the delivery of safe, reliable systems across multiple hardware architectures and real-time operating systems.

Key Responsibilities of the QA Test Engineer

    * Design and execute verification and validation strategies for embedded software systems

    * Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and infrastructure

    * Apply advanced testing techniques such as fuzz testing, constrained random testing, and automation-led validation

    * Ensure compliance with safety-critical standards including DO-178C, ISO 26262, and IEC 61508

    * Own the full QA lifecycle: test design, execution, automation, and CI/CD integration

    * Define and maintain test cases, ensuring traceability and repeatability

    * Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution in line with structured QA processes

    * Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve quality and testing practices

Skills & Experience of the QA Test Engineer

    * Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)

    * 3+ years’ experience with Python in a commercial or research environment

    * Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CloudBuild)

    * Experience with Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing

    * Strong understanding of Agile, CI, and test-driven development (TDD) principles

    * Exposure to safety-critical or regulated environments is highly desirable

    * Active SC Clearance essential

If you’re a proactive and adaptable QA Test Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, comfortable taking ownership of testing processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality across complex systems then please apply now
