The Role of SMT Operator:
* Operate Surface Mount production lines to meet production schedules.
* Carry out PCB assembly tasks including solder paste printing, loading pick-and-place machines, and inspection before and after reflow.
* Read and interpret drawings, parts lists, and production documentation.
* Follow documented procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
* Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping within the SMT area.
* Report product or process issues to supervisors promptly.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
* Support team training and continuous improvement activities.
The Person for the SMT Operator:
* Previous machine set-up and operating experience
* SMT programming experience
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Good teamwork and communication skills
Salary description
£14.00 - £15.00 per hour
