How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Brickwork Site Manager

    Birmingham and Nottinghamshire

    360 recruitment are currently working with a client who is actively looking to add a brickwork site managers to the team.

    Role Overview:

    The Site Managers are responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of brickwork construction projects. They ensure that work is completed safely, on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget. The Site Manager is a key point of contact between site operatives, subcontractors, and senior management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Management and Coordination

    Manage daily site operations and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
    Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
    Implement and maintain site standards for cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism.
    Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks with site teams.

    Health, Safety, and Compliance

    Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
    Ensure all operatives follow risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
    Report incidents, near misses, and hazards and support investigation processes.
    Coordinate with H&S advisors and ensure site inspections and audits are actioned.

    Quality Control and Productivity

    Inspect work to ensure it meets specified standards and quality benchmarks.
    Identify and address quality issues early, implementing corrective measures where needed.
    Monitor and report on productivity and resource usage against targets.
    Liaise with clients and main contractors to ensure satisfaction with works completed.
