How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Support and Inspire Pupils Within an Inclusive Primary Setting
    A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chigwell is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher to join their team for an immediate start. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and creating an environment where every child can succeed.

    The role will involve working with pupils who require additional support with their learning, communication, and emotional development. The school is seeking someone who can provide a calm, engaging, and structured approach to teaching while working closely with support staff and families.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND
    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports individual learning needs
    Adapt teaching methods and resources to support pupil engagement and progress
    Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to provide consistent support
    Monitor pupil progress and adjust planning where necessary
    Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day
    Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues

    Ideal Candidate

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    Previous experience working with children with additional needs
    Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practices
    Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching
    Confident managing behaviour in a calm and supportive manner
    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential
