The Role
You will teach across the primary phase within small, well‑supported classes. Lessons are highly differentiated, structured, and designed to meet the individual needs of pupils with autism and other complex learning profiles.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering engaging, accessible primary curriculum lessons
* Adapting teaching to meet a wide range of SEN needs
* Working closely with support staff and therapists
* Creating a calm, predictable classroom environment
* Supporting pupils' communication, independence, and emotional regulation

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Previous SEN teaching experience (not suitable for ECTs)
* Strong experience supporting autistic learners
* Confident delivering differentiated primary curriculum
* Fluent English (mother tongue or equivalent level)
* Ability to work collaboratively across classes and small groups
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
