Management Trainee – Construction / Commercial Team
Location: Brierley Hill
Salary: Up to £32,500

An established and growing construction company is looking to recruit a Management Trainee to join its Commercial Team. This is an excellent opportunity for either a graduate looking to build a long-term career within construction or someone with practical construction experience wanting to move into a commercial and management-focused role.

The position will be primarily office-based with occasional visits to live construction projects, offering excellent exposure across key areas of the business including Buying, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, and Land Management.

This role would suit an ambitious, organised, and motivated individual who is keen to learn, develop professionally, and progress within a stable and supportive company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Commercial Team across a range of construction projects
• Assisting with procurement, buying, and supplier management
• Supporting Quantity Surveyors with cost reporting and valuations
• Assisting with estimating and tender preparation
• Involvement in land and project administration activities
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Attending occasional site visits and project meetings
• General commercial and administrative support to the wider team

Requirements:
• Construction-related degree or previous construction industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the construction industry
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
• Full UK driving licence is essential
