How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Delivery Coordinator

    The Role:
    The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the sales team, customers, and delivery partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Coordinate and schedule delivery operations in alignment with customer orders and business needs.
    Utilise Purchase Orders for logistics, products and service-based operations
    Using nominated 3rd party travel management company, organise travel for technicians as required
    Communicate with internal departments (warehouse, sales, procurement) to confirm product availability and delivery timelines.
    Manage certification for products as required
    Monitor delivery progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
    Track shipments and update delivery status in the system.
    Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and proof of delivery.
    Resolve delivery-related inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
    Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
    Collaborate with third-party carriers or drivers to ensure proper execution of deliveries.
    Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delivery performance metrics.
    Continuously seek ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.Who are we looking for?

    Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

    Key skills, knowledge and experience: 
    High school diploma or equivalent or a bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or related field is a plus.
    Proven experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or delivery operations.
    Proficient in logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and tracking systems.
    Familiarity with local geography and transportation regulations is advantageous.
