Mech Electrics are working on behalf of a key client within the critical infrastructure and data centre sector to recruit an electrically biased Site Manager for a major data centre project in Hoddesdon.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically driven business delivering high-specification mission-critical infrastructure projects within fast-paced and live environments.
The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of electrical installation packages on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme expectations.
The project will involve significant electrical infrastructure and building services installations associated with a live data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities

Managing electrical subcontractors and daily site activities
*
Coordinating works with mechanical teams, principal contractors and client representatives
*
Monitoring installation quality and programme delivery
*
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
*
Attending progress and coordination meetings
*
Managing works within critical infrastructure environments
*
Supporting commissioning, testing and project handover phases

Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager within M&E or Building Services
*
Previous experience delivering data centre, critical infrastructure or technically complex projects
*
Strong understanding of electrical building services installations
*
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts
*
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification preferred
*
Ability to work within high-specification and fast-paced environments
