How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Senior Architectural Technologist – Leading North East Practice

    £38,000–£50,000+ (DOE) | Hybrid & Flexible Working | 25 Days Holiday | Training & Progression | Fully Revit-Based

A leading, globally recognised architecture and design practice in the North East is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding residential team. This is a superb opportunity to step into a senior technical role within a practice known for large-scale residential, apartment and student accommodation schemes, all delivered in Revit.

This studio is admired for its culture, progression pathways and genuine investment in its people. With strong project pipelines and continued growth, this role offers both stability and long-term career development, including management pathway support.

    Benefits & Package Highlights

    £38,000–£50,000.

    Hybrid & flexible working available.

25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Travel support (season pass loan or corporate travel membership paid upfront if needed).

    Professional fees paid.

Access to ongoing lectures and talks from renowned global architects.

Management pathway training and continuous professional development.

Health insurance plan with GP access (optional).

Salary sacrifice options including cycle to work and pension.

    Annual pay reviews.

    Clear, organic career progression.

    Pension: 5% employee / 4% employer.

    Spot bonuses for strong performance.

£100 annual allowance for stationery (or to keep as you wish!).

    The Role

You’ll join the residential team and take a technical lead across a mixture of apartment and student accommodation projects. The studio works exclusively in Revit, so confidence in BIM workflows is essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead project delivery throughout RIBA stages 4–7, ensuring robust technical design, coordination and on-site delivery.

They are also open to considering a strong, less experienced Technologist who is ready to grow into this position.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery for residential projects.

    Oversee RIBA stages 4–7.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams.

Manage Revit models, documentation and project workflows.

Drive quality, compliance and technical excellence.

Support and mentor junior team members.

    What You’ll Bring

    Strong UK technical experience.

Confident delivery of RIBA stages 4–7.

    Revit expertise (essential).

Experience in residential, student accommodation or multi-unit projects (preferred).

A collaborative mindset and confidence leading technical packages.
