We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Setter Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company in Knaresborough. This is a great opportunity to work with modern machinery in a growing business that invests in its people.

The Role:

Set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc / Heidenhain controls)
Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic programme edits
Manufacture high-quality components to tight tolerances
Work from engineering drawings to produce first-offs and batch work
Maintain high standards in line with AS9100 / ISO 13485

Shift Pattern:

Early Shift:

Mon -Thurs: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Fri: 6:00am - 12:30pmLate Shift:

Mon -Wed: 2:00pm -12:30am
Thurs: 2:00pm -10:30pm
Fri: Day off

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Operator
Experience setting and operating CNC machines
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances
Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controlsDesirable:

Apprentice trained or engineering qualification
Experience with multiple materials (metals / polymers)
5-axis or mill-turn experience
Basic CNC programming
