Opportunity

This is a standout opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of a £25m purpose-built student accommodation scheme in Manchester, delivering 200+ beds across a concrete frame and brickwork-led build. With site activity starting very soon, this Project Manager role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting involved early, setting the tone, building strong site processes, and driving a high-quality project from the ground up.

You’ll be joining a respected construction business with a strong reputation across student accommodation, residential and mixed-use developments. As Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the site team, coordinating subcontractors, managing programme delivery and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

As Project Manager, you will lead day-to-day site operations on a live Manchester student accommodation project. You’ll manage programme, quality, health and safety, site logistics, subcontractor performance, client communication and internal reporting. The Project Manager will work closely with commercial, design, planning and operational teams to keep the scheme moving, resolve issues early and maintain momentum from start on site through to completion.

You’ll be expected to bring confidence, structure and leadership to the project, particularly around concrete frame delivery, external brickwork, sequencing, quality control and handover planning.
