Quantity Surveyor - £40,000 £55,000 + Car Allowance
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing construction business delivering a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual looking to take ownership of multiple projects within a supportive and professional environment, offering long-term progression and exposure to varied schemes valued up to £4m.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of construction projects from inception through to final account.
You will typically oversee up to 3 live projects at any one time, ensuring strong commercial control and successful project delivery throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing all commercial elements of new build and refurbishment projects
Preparing and managing financial reporting and cost control
Managing variations and change processes
Producing and agreeing final accounts
Monitoring project budgets and commercial performance
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
Supporting the successful delivery of projects up to £4m in value
About You
We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware professional with a proven background in Quantity Surveying within the construction sector.
Requirements:
Degree or HNC qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline
Demonstrable experience working on commercial construction projects up to £4m
Strong understanding of commercial management and cost control
Experience managing variations and final accounts
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
