Key Responsibilities:
* Organising the movement of cargo across Europe and the UK
* Communicating accurately complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers.
* Providing the highest standards of Customer service.
* Planning and communicating routes to the fleet of drivers.
* Minimising ‘off route’ mileage to maximise operational efficiency.
* Monitoring drivers’ duty and driving time to ensure compliance is correctly followed.
* Processing Customer orders through use of the in-house operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail.
* Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment freight into Europe.
* Building strong relationships with clients, principally through verbal engagement.
* Quoting transport rates to customers to gain orders
* Communicating with colleagues in different departments to ensure internal procedures are followed correctly.
* Allocation of available resources (trucks, drivers, trailers) to meet clients demands.
