Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday, 6:00am – 11:00am
About the Role
  
Recruitable Staffing are recruiting for an experienced 5 Axis Laser Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing and fabrication environment based in Coventry.
  
This is a full-time, permanent position offering £14.50 – £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
The successful candidate must have previous setting experience and be confident setting and operating 5-axis laser cutting machinery to produce components accurately, efficiently and in line with customer specifications.
  
This role would suit someone with a strong manufacturing background, good attention to detail and the ability to work from engineering drawings.
  
Key Responsibilities

Set and operate 5-axis laser cutting machinery
Manufacture parts in line with production schedules and build plans
Set machinery to meet drawing tolerances and customer specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
Check finished components to ensure quality standards are met
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at all times
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
Report any machine faults, quality concerns or safety issues
Work efficiently to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality Skills and Experience Required

Previous 5-axis laser setting experience is essential
Experience operating laser cutting machinery within manufacturing
Ability to set machinery to drawing tolerances and customer requirements
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
Ability to follow procedures and work to production deadlines
Previous experience with Prima Power control systems would be advantageous Apply
