How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Allied Health Professional (AHP) Lead - Physiotherapist

    Are you an experienced and passionate physiotherapist ready to take the next step in leadership?

    We are looking for a registered physiotherapist to join our AHP Leads team who is enthusiastic about quality, people, and improvement—someone who can inspire teams, influence systems, and help shape the future of community services

    Physiotherapist - Main duties of the job

    As an AHP Lead, you will provide clinical leadership across AHP teams , working closely with operational and clinical colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality, person‑centred care. Your portfolio will mainly be working with our Community Therapy Service in addition to other community AHP teams in the pathway where needed

    This is a key leadership role with scope to:

    * Drive service development and quality improvement including neighbourhood working

    * Champion AHP professional standards and supervision

    * Influence pathway design, governance, and decision‑making

    * Support and develop multidisciplinary teams

    * Act as a visible, credible AHP leader within the wider organisation

    - Experience as a registered senior Allied Health Professional across a range of settings in physical health
    - Evidence based reflective practice and clinical reasoning skills
    - Operational and Resource management skills
    - Extensive knowledge of other AHP professions and community services
    - Involvement in service development
    - Clinical and legislative knowledge of disciplines within the HCPC
    - Previous employment in NHS
    - Fitness to perform manual handling and rehabilitation activities
    - Interest in clinical specialism
    - Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

    Desirable criteria

    * Experience of Multidisciplinary team leadership

    * Management qualification or in process of application/completion
