How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Key Stage 2 Teacher - Bromley - September 2026 Start

    are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the south east London borough of Bromley, who are seeking a talented and committed Key Stage 2 primary teacher to join their team from September 2026.

    This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for the full academic year, with the potential to become a permanent contract for the right candidate. The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire pupils, deliver engaging lessons and contribute positively to the wider school community.

    The role will be paid on the Outer London Pay Scale from day one through Tradewind Recruitment.

    The Role

    The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities within Key Stage 2, including:

    Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
    Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
    Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress
    Preparing reports and attending parents' evenings
    Managing behaviour effectively in line with the school's policies
    Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders
    Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting school events where appropriate
