How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager - Specialist Healthcare & Cleanroom Fit-out project
    📍 Pre-Construction Phase: London
    📍 Full-Time Site Role: Guildford
    💰 Rate: £350 - £450 per day
    🕒 Project Duration: 12 - 14 Months

    A specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex healthcare and technical facility project involving live operational works, cleanroom construction, modular integration, cyclotron installation, and significant MEP coordination.
    The role will initially be based in the Gloucester Road office during pre-construction and Stage 2 before transitioning to a full-time site-based role in Guildford through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
    Key Responsibilities
    Pre-Construction / Stage 2
    * Lead Stage 2 coordination and design development
    * Manage consultants, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers
    * Review programme sequencing, logistics, buildability, and risk
    * Coordinate procurement and package management
    * Attend client, design, and progress meetings
    * Support value engineering and programme optimisation
    * Coordinate enabling works and live-environment planning
    Delivery Phase
    * Take overall responsibility for programme, quality, and H&S
    * Manage subcontractors, specialist suppliers, and direct labour
    * Deliver works within a live operational environment
    * Coordinate cleanroom installation, modular works, MEP integration, structural alterations, and specialist equipment interfaces
    * Chair progress meetings and maintain client communication
    * Manage commissioning, validation, and final handover
    Candidate Requirements
    * Proven track record delivering complex projects from pre-construction to completion
    * Strong cleanroom and specialist MEP experience
    * Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or live environments
    * Strong programme management and client-facing capability
    * Experience managing commissioning and validation processes
    * SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid certified
    Excellent opportunity to deliver a technically challenging project within a highly regulated environment.
