How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary School ARP Teaching Assistant – Lambeth (SW2)
    Location: Lambeth, SW2
    Start Date: ASAP
    Pay: £545 per week
    Contract: Full-time
    We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Lambeth (SW2). This role will be based within an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
    About the Role This is an excellent opportunity to support children with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and other complex needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide tailored support, helping pupils access learning and develop key social and communication skills.
    Key Responsibilities
    Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
    Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
    Assist with behaviour management strategies
    Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
    Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionalsRequirements
    Experience working with children with SEN is desirable
    A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
    Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essentialWhat the School Offers
