A specialist SEN school in Walton-on-Thames is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Working Hours

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:15pm (CPD included)
Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pmThe Role:

Support teaching and learning across the school
Deliver interventions and small group activities
Work closely with teachers and support staff
Help provide a positive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils with a range of additional needs
Location: Walton-on-ThamesRequirements:

Applicants must:

Have Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) experience or hold a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
Have experience working within an SEN setting
Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one
Have the right to work in the UK
Be able to commute to Walton-on-ThamesThe ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential.
