Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift qualification to join our client's growing team in Southampton. Our client is a well-established packaging distributor experiencing continued growth and is looking for a hardworking individual to support their expanding warehouse operations.
About this role:
* Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
* 12-week temp to perm role
* 4:30am start time
* Picking and packing duties
* Printing, labelling and checking orders against manifests
* Organise stock in the warehouse
* Operate pallet jacks and forklifts
* Assisting the warehouse manager and team with all aspects of warehouse operations
* Maintain clean and tidy work environment and follow health and safety regulations
Requirements for this position:
* Own vehicle to commute to and from work is essential due to start time and location of the client
* Previous warehouse and order picking experience is essential
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
* Computer literate
* Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
* Forklift licence is preferred
