About the Role
All Square Recruitment is excited to partner with a reputable client based in Colchester, Essex, to recruit a dedicated Forklift Driver for their busy warehouse and production operation. This temp to perm opportunity is ideal for an experienced or trainee Forklift Driver looking to build a long-term career, with genuine progression opportunities and forklift training available for the right candidate. You'll play a key role within a fast-paced goods-in department, helping to keep the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse and production environment.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring materials are handled and processed accurately.
* Work within a busy goods-in department, supporting the smooth flow of stock.
* Carry out manual handling duties, including regularly lifting items up to 25kg.
* Collaborate closely with the wider team to ensure goods are processed efficiently and on schedule.
* Adhere to all health & safety and manual handling guidelines at all times.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
* Previous forklift experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
* A Counterbalance licence is required - Inhouse licences cannot be accepted.
* Comfortable and capable of regularly lifting up to 25kg in line with manual handling requirements.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to teamwork.
* Good communication skills and a reliable, hard-working attitude.
* A current, up-to-date CV is required upon application.
