How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A rare and genuinely career-defining opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to act as a lead delivery figure and trusted Client Advisor on one of the most significant public-sector programmes currently underway - a £110 million+ Blue Light masterplan of national importance.

This flagship programme comprises twelve buildings delivered within a coordinated, campus-style redevelopment, combining new-build facilities, complex refurbishments, and major modernisation works. Operating as a long-term framework, the project brings exceptional scale, technical complexity, and stakeholder sensitivity - making it a standout opportunity for a Senior PM ready to step into major programme leadership and advisory responsibility.

You will join a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy recognised for its public-sector expertise, collaborative culture, and ability to operate at the very highest levels of governance and client trust. Beyond delivery, this role places you at the centre of strategic client decision-making, offering a clear and credible pathway toward Associate Director.

    Why This Role Stands Out

    * Act as lead delivery PM and Client Advisor on a £110m+ multi-building public-sector programme

    * Influence strategic decisions on one of the UK’s most high-profile Blue Light redevelopments

    * Operate in a politically sensitive, multi-stakeholder environment with real community impact

    * Gain exposure to programme-level governance, assurance and advisory leadership

    * A landmark scheme that will significantly elevate your CV and long-term career trajectory

    Key Responsibilities

As Senior Project Manager and Client Advisor, you will take responsibility for both delivery leadership and strategic guidance across the masterplan:

    * Lead the delivery of multiple building projects within the wider campus programme

    * Act as a trusted advisor to the client, providing clear, confident guidance on programme strategy, risk, cost, phasing and delivery options

    * Manage projects from inception and business case through design, construction and handover

    * Lead stakeholder engagement across client bodies, consultants, contractors and end-user groups

    * Ensure outcomes align with programme objectives, budgets, quality standards and statutory compliance

    * Administer NEC3/4 or JCT contracts, including change control, compensation events and governance reporting

    * Manage programme risk, reporting, assurance and control processes

    * Support and mentor Project Managers and Assistant PMs across the framework

    * Champion best practice, continuous improvement and client-focused delivery across the consultancy

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    You will bring:

    * Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-building or complex construction programmes

    * Strong working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts

    * Experience operating in public-sector or highly regulated environments

    * The confidence and credibility to act as a client-facing advisor at senior level

    * Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills

    * A professional qualification such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB (or working toward)

    * A proactive, solutions-led mindset with the ambition to progress toward Associate Director

    What’s On Offer

    * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

    * Hybrid working to support flexibility and work–life balance

    * The opportunity to lead and advise on one of the UK’s most significant public-sector programmes

    * Clear and structured career progression within a growing consultancy

    * A collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values autonomy, trust and professional development

    Take the Next Step

If you’re ready to combine major project delivery with high-level client advisory responsibility - and want to be associated with a programme that will define the next stage of your career - this Senior Project Manager / Client Advisor role offers a truly exceptional opportunity.
