The Graduate Quantity Surveyor's role
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial delivery of projects across both pre- and post-contract stages. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will assist with cost planning, tender analysis, procurement, valuations, and financial reporting while developing a strong understanding of project delivery. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will attend client and project meetings, working alongside experienced consultants across a wide range of sectors. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will also assist with contract administration duties and contribute to maintaining project budgets and programme objectives.
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor
The ideal Graduate Quantity Surveyor will have recently completed a RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. A Graduate Quantity Surveyor should demonstrate strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in the built environment. Any placement or internship experience within construction or consultancy would be advantageous for this Graduate Quantity Surveyor role. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to progress towards MRICS chartership.
