Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-facing Senior Project Manager looking to work across a diverse range of projects while taking ownership of delivery, client relationships, and project strategy. The successful Senior Project Manager will join a collaborative consultancy environment with strong progression prospects and exposure to high-quality schemes across the Midlands.

This consultancy is looking for a confident and proactive Senior Project Manager with strong consultancy experience and the ability to manage projects through all stages of delivery. The incoming Senior Project Manager will play a key role in leading project teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes across a varied portfolio.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The successful Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, cost, and quality objectives. Responsibilities will include programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and contract administration.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams while also supporting junior team members and contributing towards the continued growth of the Birmingham office. Experience managing multiple projects within a consultancy environment will be highly beneficial.

The Senior Project Manager

The ideal Senior Project Manager will have:

Strong construction consultancy experience
Experience delivering projects across commercial, residential, education, or mixed-use sectors
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery processes
MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB chartership preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
