Senior Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities

Production of monthly accounting, costing, contract management and financial reporting information
*
Monitor, analyse and report on bill of quantities, specifications and contractual implications across ongoing and new projects
*
Liaise with clients regarding costing information, managing and highlighting variations to cost and specification
*
Support development opportunities and follow-up business including the provision of quotations for minor works
*
Assist the Contracts Manager with tender enquiries, responses and determination of charging structures
*
Support commercial risk management and contractual compliance across projects
*
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
Senior Quantity Surveyor – About You
*
Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a rail contracting or infrastructure environment
*
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction
*
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing cost, contracts and reporting
*
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
*
Self-motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*
Ambitious with a desire to develop personally and progress within the commercial function
