Gateman / Traffic Marshall Required 

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Gateman to join our team on a long-term 2-year project in the Cobham area. This role involves managing site access, maintaining site cleanliness, and assisting with general upkeep duties including sweeping and jet washing.

Gateman Job Details:

Full-time position

Long-term 2-year project

Competitive pay

Monday to Friday with possible overtime

Start: 18/05/2026

Location: Cobham, Surrey

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the site

Record visitors, vehicles, and deliveries

Open and close gates for authorised personnel and vehicles

Safely manage vehicle and pedestrian movement on site

Report suspicious activity or security concerns

Sweep site areas to maintain cleanliness and safety

Carry out jet washing of site areas and surfaces

Keep entrances and surrounding areas tidy

Follow all health and safety procedures

Assist site staff with general duties when required

Requirements:

Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket required

Valid CSCS card required

Previous gateman or site experience preferred

Good communication and observation skills

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Physically fit and capable of manual work

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
