Skilled Careers are partnered with an expanding social housing contractor seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team supporting planned works and refurbishment schemes across North London and Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant QS looking to develop under experienced commercial leadership within a supportive, energetic and highly collaborative environment.
Job Description
Assisting Quantity Surveyors with the commercial delivery of social housing refurbishment and planned maintenance projects across London and Essex
Supporting CVRs, subcontractor payments, valuations, variations and project cost reporting
Working alongside senior commercial staff on roofing, FRA works, cladding, EWI, windows and structural repair programmes
Building strong relationships with site teams, subcontractors and clients across North London and Harlow projects
Developing commercial knowledge within a growing contractor offering structured progression and long-term career opportunities
Skills / Qualifications
Previous Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Trainee Quantity Surveyor experience within construction or refurbishment projects
Understanding of commercial processes including valuations, variations and subcontractor accounts
Ambitious and career-driven individual looking to progress within Quantity Surveying
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative office-based team environment
Degree qualified or currently studying Quantity Surveying or Construction Management preferred
