Project Overview

We are seeking experienced LV Cable Installers / Electricians for work on a new build 132kV substation project in Berkeley, Gloucester.

This is a dead working environment only as the site is not yet energised, therefore no special authorisations are required.

Duties

Installation of LV and multicore SWA cables
Glanding and terminating SWA cables
Testing and inspection of installed cables
Installation of cable containment systems including:
Tray
Conduit
Ladder rack
Working safely within a substation construction environment

Requirements

ECS Card essential
Previous experience with LV and SWA cable installation
Experience working within industrial, utilities, energy, or substation environments preferred
Ability to read and work from drawings
Strong understanding of safe working practices

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm
1 hour lunch break
