How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Data (Visualisation / BI) Analyst – Supply Chain (Procurement)

You will be an experienced Data Analyst, supporting our Procurement function, combining strong analytical, data engineering, and business intelligence capabilities. You will focus on transforming complex, multi-source data into actionable insights that drive cost optimisation, supplier performance management, and operational efficiency.

Ideally you bring a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement experience, with a strong track record of working in procurement or broader supply chain environments.

This will be initially a 1-year project, which supports hybrid working.

    Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL and Alteryx to ingest, cleanse, and transform procurement and supply chain data.

Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g. custom applications, supplier data, external datasets) to create coherent, analysis-ready data models.

Ensure data reliability, consistency, and usability for downstream analytics and reporting.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support procurement decision-making.

Deliver insights across key areas such as supplier performance, cost drivers, and savings tracking.

Translate complex data into clear visualisations tailored to the business requirements.

Partner closely with procurement teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between technical data work and business outcomes.

    Skills & Experience

At least 5 years’ experience in data analysis, interpretation, visualisation and communication

BS degree in Computer Science / Data analytics or relevant quantitative degrees

Advanced experience with SQL, Power BI (including data modelling and DAX), and Alteryx

Strong background in data preparation, transformation, and integration across complex datasets

Proven ability to structure and model data for reporting and analytics
    Salary description

    £40000.00 - £50000.00 per year
