How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Commercial Accountant will play a vital role in managing financial operations within the property industry, ensuring accurate reporting and providing strategic support to the team.     Description

    Preparing monthly management accounts.
    Reporting monthly accounts to the board.
    Work closely with the commercial team to allocate project costing, update and report monthly.
    Work closely with other departments using centralised financial data.
    Create scenarios, forecasts and models to help management make informed business decisions.
    Update weekly and monthly cash flows.
    Acting as a key finance member while also working closely with the MD & other departments.
    A commercially astute outlook whilst being able to maintain the finance function.
    Excellent time management and an ability to be able to hit strict deadlines each month for reporting purposes.
    Excellent people skills and be able to create good relationships with the
    whole business as well as the finance team.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
    Be a crucial cog between finance and all other departments to help present and report accurate information so the business can make informed decisions.
    Ensure weekly and monthly reporting deadlines are hit.
    Provide guidance to management and give constructive feedback from a financial perspective.Profile

    A successful Commercial Accountant should have:

    A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent education in accounting and finance.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
