How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an admin looking for a change of pace? Or want to start your career off in admin within an NHS trust?

    We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic administrator within the Buckinghamshire Central Admin team. This role plays a key part in the effective day to day running of our services coordinating our room booking system for our outpatients department.

    You will act as the first point of contact for staff members, providing a polite, professional, and efficient service both face to face and via telephone and email. You will be required to liaise and negotiate with with our staff groups to get the maximum use of the space available.

    We welcome applications from individuals who are organised, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a busy environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise workloads, work well as part of a team, and use their own initiative when required.

    Main duties of the job

    * The role includes room bookings for clinics/meetings, ensuring we are maximising the use of our space effectively and accommodating the requirement for our clinics and services.

    * Liaising with teams to ensure bookings are up to date and correct.

    * Collating information on room usage.

    * Setting up rooms at the start of the day and escalating any building issues to are estates department.

    * The role will require some support cover to reception to cover leave.
