About Us:
Supply Staff is currently recruiting SEN Tutors to support students across Newham and surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced SEN Tutors who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs through personalised education.
Job Overview:
As an SEN Tutor, you will provide one-to-one tuition for students with Special Educational Needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The ideal SEN Tutor will have experience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and other additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging one-to-one SEN Tutor sessions
• Support students in core subjects including English and Maths
• Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and EHCP targets
• Build positive relationships with students and families
• Provide feedback on student progress where required
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
• Experience supporting students with SEN and EHCPs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• DBS on the Update Service
• PGCE, QTS, or SEN experience preferred
