Key responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, primarily on trunking routes to RDCs
* Adhere to all health and safety and transport regulations, including daily vehicle checks
* Deliver and collect goods on schedule, maintaining accurate records and paperwork
* Assist with loading and unloading as required, ensuring cargo security
* Report any vehicle defects or safety issues promptly to management
* Maintain professional communication with the operations team and customers
* Flexibility to undertake other duties as needed, supporting overall logistics efficiency
What we’re looking for:
* Valid HGV Class 1 licence with relevant CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles, especially on trunking routes
* Strong knowledge of the Hampshire area and surrounding RDC locations
* Commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliability
* Good communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
