How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

    £51,000 - £54,000 + Further Training Available + Great Progression Potential + Quarterly Bonus + 4 Day Week

    Shift Pattern: Mon-Thurs 6pm-6am

    Workshop based in Crediton. Commutable from Exeter, Tiverton, Cullompton, Okehampton, South Molton, Newton Abbot and surrounding areas.

    Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a long-standing nationwide market leader, that will invest in you with specialist internal and external training, facilitate the progression into more senior positions and the ability to become a go-to technical expert within your industry?

    This company manufacture high-end Electronic products for a variety of different industries including, Aerospace and Defence. Due to their continued success, they are expanding the team and looking to take on a new Engineer, who they will invest in through fantastic training and progression opportunities.

    This is a Mon-Thurs night shift site based role. You will assist with the Preventative and reactive maintenance of a busy manufacturing site. The company will offer training, so candidates with any Multi-Skilled maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.
