Construction Yard Operative – Stevenage – Immediate Start

We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Yard Operative to start ASAP on a long-term project in Stevenage.

This role is ideal for reliable and hardworking candidates with previous experience working in construction yards, builders merchants, or similar environments.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

* General yard duties and maintenance

* Loading and unloading construction materials

* Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe

* Moving materials and equipment around the yard

* Assisting drivers and warehouse staff when required

* Supporting site operations and deliveries

* Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

✔ Previous experience working in a construction yard or builders merchant
✔ Experience handling construction materials
✔ Good work ethic and reliability
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
✔ Full PPE
✔ CSCS card preferred but not essential
