How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Level 3 Vehicle / Mobile Technician

    Full-Time | Permanent
    Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

    About the Role

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Level 3 Vehicle / Mobile Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work across a varied fleet of vehicles.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out safe, efficient, and professional servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.

    This role would suit someone with strong technical ability, excellent attention to detail, and experience working independently within a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a varied fleet of vehicles

    Complete both minor and major mechanical work to a high standard

    Perform vehicle health checks and road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy

    Conduct mechanical, electrical, and engine repair work as required

    Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment, including Renault systems

    Carry out wiring and camera maintenance work

    Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and recommend appropriate solutions

    Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently

    Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

    Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly with relevant teams

    About You

    We are looking for someone who:

    * Has a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair

    * Works to high standards with strong attention to detail

    * Is organised and able to manage workload effectively

    * Can work independently and as part of a team

    * Has excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

    * Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and customer service

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

    * Minimum Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

    * Previous vehicle servicing and repair experience

    * Experience with wiring and camera maintenance

    * Strong vehicle technical knowledge

    * Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment

    * Full and valid UK driving licence

    * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

    Desirable

    * Experience working with Renault vehicles or systems

    * Mobile technician experience
