We're looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a well-established manufacturing team in Mere. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background as an Injection Moulding Technician or Mould Setter to work in a supportive environment, develop their skills, and contribute to high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
In this hands-on role, you'll be ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently:
Set up machines to specification and action manufacturing plans
Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Safely install mould tools and oversee machine setup to ensure product quality
Monitor materials and production stocks used by operators
Maintain clean and safe workspaces, following H&S procedures
Check product quality against specifications and implement remedial actions
Support and train operators on best manufacturing practices
Communicate daily with the Mouldings Manager on technical issues affecting production
Encourage efficient and effective working practices across the team
What we're looking for:
We want someone who can hit the ground running and support production excellence:
Professional qualification in Injection Moulding and Automated systems (E)
Understanding of general manufacturing practices (E)
Technical experience operating injection moulding machines (8 years desirable)
Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
Good written and verbal communication
Awareness of Health & Safety practices
IT and manufacturing systems knowledge
