How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Revit Technician to join a growing Building Services team based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering innovative and coordinated engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors.

Working alongside MEP engineers and wider design teams, you will play an important role in the development and delivery of high-quality BIM models and technical drawings for both new build and refurbishment projects. Projects span a variety of sectors including commercial, education, residential, public sector and mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will contribute to projects from early design stages through to delivery, supporting coordinated and efficient design solutions that prioritise quality, sustainability, operational performance and the end-user experience.

    Key Responsibilities

Prepare, develop and maintain 3D MEP Revit models and produce associated drawings, schedules and documentation.
Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to develop coordinated building services designs.
Produce general arrangement drawings, sections and detailed design information in line with project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other design disciplines to ensure models and documentation are integrated and aligned with project programmes.
Apply a high level of technical skill, care and attention to detail to ensure work is accurate, coordinated and delivered to the required standards.
Review and check your own work, as well as supporting quality checks on outputs from colleagues and external contributors where required.
Ensure document control and QA procedures are followed throughout project delivery.
Deliver work within agreed project timescales and budgets.
Support junior team members and apprentices in developing their Revit and CAD capabilities.
Contribute ideas and improvements that help develop BIM processes and workflows across the team. Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working as an MEP CAD/Revit Technician within the construction or building services sector, ideally within a consultancy environment.
Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
Experience working on UK-based MEP projects.
Experience delivering both new-build and refurbishment schemes.
Good understanding of BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
Ability to manage workload effectively and work to agreed deadlines.
    Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Experience identifying and implementing workflow or process improvements would be beneficial. Why Join?

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment delivering a diverse range of projects. You will join a team focused on quality, innovation and integrated project delivery, with opportunities for professional development and long-term career progression
