We are recruiting for an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor on behalf of a growing transport and logistics business in Linwood. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a newly created parts department and play a key role in shaping its future.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking to move beyond a standard Parts Advisor role and take on real responsibility, including building processes, managing suppliers, and helping develop a future team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and develop a new parts department
* Source and order HGV and trailer parts
* Manage stock control and inventory accuracy
* Build strong supplier relationships
* Support workshop and fleet maintenance teams
* Implement efficient processes and systems
* Assist with future team growth and development
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Parts Advisor (automotive, HGV or commercial preferred)
* Strong understanding of vehicle parts and supply chains
* Organised, proactive and commercially minded
* Confident communicator with good relationship-building skills
* Experience with HGV/trailer/fleet environments desirable
