How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Transport Planner - Transport & Mobility

    Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their dynamic Transport & Mobility team, working on a wide range of projects including regeneration, urban development, highways, and sustainable and active travel schemes. This is a hybrid role, with opportunities to be based in London, Bristol, Leeds, or Manchester.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about shaping the future of mobility, contributing to Net Zero goals, and designing healthier, more sustainable cities. You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering innovative transport strategies and masterplans across the UK and internationally.

    Key responsibilities:

    Lead and contribute to transport planning and mobility projects from concept through to delivery
    Prepare technical reports, data analysis, and clear, engaging presentations
    Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
    Support project management, including budgets, timelines, and resources
    Contribute to business development and proposal submissionsAbout you:

    Proven experience in transport and mobility planning and design
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
    Understanding of development planning and integrated design within masterplanning
    A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for sustainable transport solutions
