About the Role
We are working with a leading main contractor in London who is looking to appoint an Assistant BIM Manager to support the successful delivery of BIM across multiple construction projects.
This role is focused on BIM delivery, information management, and project support, working closely with the BIM Manager to ensure project information is delivered in line with client requirements and industry standards.
This is not a pure BIM coordination role — the position requires someone who understands BIM processes, delivery frameworks, and project information management, rather than solely model coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the BIM Manager in the delivery and implementation of BIM across live projects
* Assist in setting up and maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
* Support the management of project information requirements (EIRs, MIDP, TIDP)
* Coordinate BIM deliverables across multiple disciplines and project teams
* Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards and company BIM procedures
* Support the management and use of Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Aconex, or similar
* Help monitor and track BIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
* Liaise with design teams, consultants, and site teams to support BIM delivery
* Assist in QA checks and ensuring model/data compliance prior to submission
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience as a BIM Coordinator, Assistant BIM Manager, or Junior BIM Manager
* Exposure to BIM delivery and project information management (not just coordination)
* Understanding of BIM Execution Plans and ISO 19650 principles
* Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDEs)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple project stakeholders
* A proactive approach and willingness to support BIM strategy and delivery
Desirable Experience
* Main contractor or large-scale construction project experience
* Multi-project BIM delivery exposure
* Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks
* Awareness of digital construction workflows and information management systems
Salary description
£50000.00 - £55000.00 per year
