How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Simply Education are proud to be working in close partnership with a valued client to recruit a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) in the Pwllheli area with a view to go full-time 5days a week.

    About the role:

    This is a part-time role, requiring you to work 3 days per week, delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects such as English, Maths and Science (lower level / Funtional Skills / Level 1)

    You will benefit from very small class sizes of no more than 4 pupils, allowing you to provide highly personalised support and build meaningful relationships that positively impact each learner's progress and wellbeing.

    Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with care, education, and clinical professionals to support the holistic development of each pupil. The school places a strong emphasis on creating a structured, nurturing environment that reduces barriers to learning and encourages personal growth.

    You will play a key role in helping young people build confidence, develop independence, and gain the skills they need to succeed both in education and within their wider community.

    Requirements

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
    A caring, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting young people
    Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH needs
    A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to the school's location)Benefits
