Our client is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join a simulation software team focused on delivering high-quality, reliable software within a complex engineering environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with software developers and engineering teams across the full software testing lifecycle, supporting the delivery of robust simulation and software development solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Support end-to-end software testing activities across simulation software releases
* Develop and execute software test plans, test scripts, and test cases
* Perform software test automation and defect testing
* Analyse software logs and data to investigate issues
* Support CI/CD pipelines and Agile software development processes
* Produce software test reports and support release activities
* Work closely with software engineering and support teams
Skills & Experience
* Experience within software testing, software QA, or software engineering environments
* Strong understanding of software test automation
* Experience analysing software logs and troubleshooting issues
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile Scrum methodologies
* Experience with tools such as GitLab, JIRA, scripting, or ALM/PLM platforms
* Understanding of compliance or regulated software environments
