Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing software development team focused on improving the reliability, performance, and maintainability of complex simulation systems.
This is a hands-on software engineering role where you will work within an Agile software development environment, helping to resolve technical issues, reduce technical debt, and improve overall software quality across critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Investigate and resolve complex software issues
* Improve software reliability and system performance
* Reduce technical debt through long-term software engineering solutions
* Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
* Work closely with software development teams in an Agile environment
* Build strong understanding of system architecture and software behaviour
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
* Strong software development background using C++, Java, Rust, or similar
* Experience working in Agile software engineering teams
* Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing
* Experience with debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimisation
* Willingness to learn Ada programming
