How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

However, with the rise of e-commerce and globalisation, many growing brands are becoming increasingly overwhelmed with the variety of rules and need help.


    Our clients are typically based in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, and their products sell globally.

    We're hiring a Junior SDR to be the first voice growing brands hear from EdgeComply.


    Your day is built around the phone, but instead of pitching strangers who didn't ask for it, you'll be inviting brands to one of our popular compliance webinars. It's a soft, helpful conversation, not a hard sell.


    This is a great fit if you want a structured start in B2B sales with a clear path forward. You'll be trained directly by members of our senior sales team and our CEO. After 18 months of strong performance, the path is Senior SDR, and from there into an Account Executive (closing) role.


    ## ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


    ๐Ÿ“ž Outbound Calling: Make a high volume of outbound calls to consumer and e-commerce brands using our script and target lists. This is the core of the job and where you'll spend most of your time.

    ๐ŸŽค Webinar Invites: Invite qualified brands to our compliance webinars and follow up to make sure they actually show up.

    ๐Ÿ“… Meeting Booking: Qualify interested brands and book them in for a meeting with our closing team.

    ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ CRM Hygiene: Keep call notes, dispositions, and follow-ups clean and up-to-date so nothing falls through the cracks.

    ๐Ÿงช Iterate With Us: Share what's working and what isn't from your calls. We adjust the script and approach based on what the team learns each week.

    ๐Ÿค Work Closely With The Sales Team: You'll report to our Sales Manager, who'll coach you on calls, run weekly 1:1s, and help you improve fast.

    This is a full-time, on-site role.


    • Minimum 4 days/week in our office at the Design District (easy 3-minute walk from North Greenwich station)

    • Flexibility for occasional remote work
