How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    📍Leeds - Hybrid (travel across Yorkshire required)

    📜Full-Time, Permanent (35hrs a week)

    🪙£30,000–£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

    We’re currently recruiting for a passionate and proactive HR Advisor to join a small but growing team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and employees to deliver effective people solutions.


    This is a varied and fast-paced opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and making a real impact within an organisation.


    The Role

    • Provide generalist HR advice across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and policy development
    • Support learning and development initiatives and internal training sessions
    • Manage and maintain HR systems and records, ensuring strong compliance
    • Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices
    • Support business performance through effective people management
    • Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes


    About You

    You’ll be a confident and organised HR professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

    • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
    • Previous experience in a generalist HR Admin, Assistant, or Advisor role
    • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or working towards) – desirable but not essential
    • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload
    • Commitment to continuous professional development


    Package

    • ÂŁ30,000 – ÂŁ35,000 per annum (DOE)
    • Hybrid working
    • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
