The Role – Science Teacher
We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school based in Lambeth on a permanent basis starting in September 2026.
For this Science Teacher role, you will be responsible for teaching KS3–KS4 Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, to mixed-ability classes. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire students and encourage a genuine interest in Science.
The role will also involve delivering practical experiments and hands-on investigations in line with the curriculum, ensuring students can develop both their theoretical understanding and practical scientific skills within a safe and structured classroom environment.
As a Science Teacher, you will be expected to monitor student progress, support students of varying abilities, and contribute positively to the wider department. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to deliver creative and stimulating lessons that help students achieve their full potential. This role would be ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
