How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

2nd Line Support Engineer – Krakow, Poland – 12‑Month Contract

We’re partnering with a major international organisation that’s seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Operations function. You’ll be supporting End User Computing and desktop technologies across the business, ensuring colleagues have a smooth and reliable digital working environment.

This position is based on‑site in Krakow, and requires business‑level Polish as well as the right to work in Poland.

As the work will be completed in Poland IR35 doesn’t apply but we will need to work with you to understand the applicable tax depending on your personal situation.

If you enjoy tackling technical issues, improving user experience, and working closely with a wide range of teams, this role will suit you well.

    What you’ll be doing

Handling device build and deployment, including maintaining standard images and preparing equipment for users.
Providing 2nd line support for escalations from the 1st line team and coordinating with external partners when needed.
Managing change, incident, request, and problem tickets, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Keeping technical documentation, procedures, and configuration records current and well‑maintained.
Installing operating systems and software in line with incoming workload.
Using ServiceNow as the primary ITSM tool.
Overseeing local hardware inventory and stock control.
Working closely with colleagues across the Digital Workplace area to resolve issues efficiently.
Identifying opportunities to enhance services and implementing improvements once approved.
Supporting printer environments (Papercut, Ricoh Streamline, Lexmark).
Providing assistance with meeting room technology, including Smart Hub devices.
Offering occasional support to other European offices, with rare travel to major hubs.
Collaborating with third‑party suppliers and working alongside the Digital Employee Experience Lead.
    What you’ll bring

2–3 years’ experience in a large‑scale corporate IT environment.
Strong capability in hardware diagnostics and repairs (CompTIA A+ beneficial).
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune for device management and security.
Ability to configure and deploy corporate mobile devices using MDM platforms (Intune preferred).
Understanding of printer management tools such as Papercut, Ricoh Streamline, or Lexmark.
A collaborative approach and confidence working with internal teams and external vendors.
