We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator with experience in 5 Axis machining to join our client's manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce quality timber items.

Duties:
* Set up and operate Homag & Felder 5 Axis CNC machines, ensuring precise calibration and alignment for production
* Interpret technical drawings to determine requirements
* Perform routine maintenance
* Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling to assist with machine setup, part inspection, and minor repairs
* Document data and and accurate records
* Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
* Edit codes to produce parts
* Support assembly tasks as needed to complete finished products
Skills:
* Proven experience setting and operating 5 Axis CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
* Competent with machining and ideally timber products
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling for machine setup and maintenance
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Good organisational and problem solving skills with the ability to follow safety procedures
